It's been so nice finally getting to spend time in the Experimental Living Cabins (they get closed up all summer because of the extreme heat and the fact that they have no power which also means no cooling) if you are curious and want to try staying in one of the cabins this fall or winter contact Elena at azwest@zittel.org for more info.

Repost from last week when I got to have a conversation with students from the Rocky Mountain School of Art and Design @vasdprogram about "Life Practice" on my public works at the GSA campus in Denver. Such a great visit – and the first time I've visited the Planar Pavilions since they were finished. (These works were the first of the planar inspired pieces that I'm making now)

A little hard to photograph through plexi, but saw some really wonderful weavings at the Museum of Contemporary Native Arts today. This beauty by Marlowe Katoney.

Hey all you desert dwellers (I know there are a lot of you out there)! Our eleventh biennial HDTS event is happening over the weekend of October 21-22 and we are in need of additional housing for our artists and speakers. Do you have an airbnb or an extra room in your house that you would like to donate? If so contact us this week at info@highdeserttestsites.com – thank you!
